Babies and Children’s Portraits

Little babies grow so fast, and I find it so enjoyable to capture their little personalities.

Expression and Personality

Capturing true personality and expression is hard, as little babies wiggle and crawl, and don’t stay put. But that’s what I do. I’ll photograph your baby with true expression, capturing their personality in a unique way.

Exquisite Lighting, In Studio or On Location

To capture true expression, the lighting has to be perfect. So I don’t take it for chance, hoping the “natural light” just happens to work out. Instead, I bring studio lighting gear wherever the shoot may be. If we’re in the studio, and we’re using the magazine white background, it’ll look amazing and your child’s skin tones and eyes will pop, because the lighting is perfect.

And if we travel and use your home or an outdoor garden, the background will be deep (drawing attention to the child’s face), and their skin tones and eyes will pop.

Album of Your Child Growing Up

We can do a series of shoots, and then combine your favorite images of each stage, into one gorgeous album. Typically I do an album for the first year, combining a number of shoots at key moments in life:

  • First few days old
  • 1 month old
  • 3 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 1 year old
  • 18 months

Individual Shots at Special Times

Maybe your little girl just turned 3 years old. She’s spunky, has a big personality, but will soon grow and change. You want to capture how she looks right now, creating heirlooms to be enjoyed for decades to come. We can do an individual shoot, or even all your kids together, just because it’s time to do it. And regardless of the weather outside, the indoor studio always works out beautifully.

I have a way of talking and playing with the kids so that they light up, showing their real personalities. No fake smiles here.

Wall Prints or Collages?

Besides albums, there’s a lot of options for wall art, like these framed collages, or even just single prints. There’s no minimums and no pre-set packages, because everyone wants something different and unique for their home.

I can even use the photograph of your kids to create an abstract painting on canvas, for a unique art piece in your entry way.
