One of the things I love about this time of year, is that it’s the season for family portraits. It’s also the time of year when I see friends, and sometimes, as is the case with this photo shoot, it’s a combination of both.
This is my good friend Roger and his wife Liz. They just came in for some portraits, and I love how they looked together.
This first image just sparkles with love and emotion. They look so happy together!
They needed an updated portrait together, and I thought black and white would best capture the emotion between them. We took a few different images, but none of us could narrow it down to their one favorite. We ended up going with these two images instead.
This second image shares many of the same fantastic qualities of the first, but yet it is so completely different.
Maybe you recognize Roger as the guitar player for the band, Ryan Shupe & the RubberBand. But both Roger and Liz also perform together as a songwriting/singing duo called Forever Blue. If you get a chance to hear either group, you won’t regret it!
