Speaking at Pictureline

April 12th was Canon Day at Pictureline, Utah’s premier photography store.  In fact, after speaking and traveling all over the country and visiting camera stores everywhere, Pictureline stands out to me as not only the cleanest and most beautifully organized, but also as the store with the most helpful and knowledgeable staff on photography.  I love to shop there!

I felt very honored to have them ask me to speak and do a program for them on this big day.  I started with an abbreviated version of my creativity program, then demoed and showed how I use cameras, reflectors, and other pieces of lighting in a real shoot of my friend Nattalie, a professional model hired for the event.

Here are some of the images I created that day.

We photographed outside the store using various angles and lighting, in both shade and full sun.  After that, we went inside the store where the staff had set up a full studio for me to work with.

While I was shooting, the staff at Pictureline would print the images I was creating on various printers!  They looked fabulous.  It was a great day!

For those interested in attending one of my photography workshops, visit my workshop site for locations and dates on upcoming events.

I also plan on doing a workshop here at my studio some time this year.  It will be limited to a select number of photographers.  If you are interested in attending one here in Utah, let me know.

Well, until next time, America!
