I'm both a PPA Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman, and have dedicated my life to my love and passion of making people look their best during important times of their lives.

Despite living in a world inundated with low quality quick snapshots, I create custom portraits and wall artwork of our loved ones that evoke an emotional response.

I believe in the importance and power of great portraits. I love people's reaction from seeing a well-made portrait of themselves or a loved one. And because these feelings are real, our loved ones are real, and families are real, I specialize in creating real physical art pieces to decorate your home.

Beyond using master techniques in positioning, lighting, and retouching so you look your best, I also focus on creating the best possible wall pieces and boutique products to brighten your living space.

I love creating something of value that can be enjoyed now and with future generations. Most material things can be replaced, but family portraits top the list of things people run into a burning homes to save.

We can not retake portraits a loved one has passed away, our children are grown, or special moments have passed.  That's why I love creating special and emotional pieces for you right now.

Families change and loved ones pass, which is why there's never a better time than NOW to update your portraits.

Don't put it off or go with the cheap option planning to do it better later, because I can make you look younger and better right now.

AND, if after I do your portrait you lose weight, look younger, or for whatever reason want to re-shoot your family within the next year, I'll do the shoot for free and replace your wall portrait from your original order.

On top of that, if you go with a canvas wall portrait, and that gets damaged for any reason in the next three years, I'll replace it!

My studio is trademarked “Celebrity Style Imaging” because I know how to make everyone look and feel like a celebrity. I use the same approach and lighting styles with everyone, not just my VIP clients. Your portraits will look like they came out of a magazine.

Emotional images and exceptional lighting is my unique style, and I give each job my creative and emotional all.

I'm one of the few photographers with the national titles and PPA degrees of Master Photographer and Photographic Craftsman. I have a mixed background in both modern fashion work as well as timeless classic portraiture, which means the images I create for you will be impactful, timeless, emotional, contemporary, and eye-catching.

Most of my clients are women, and many have confided in me that they don't feel photogenic.

Believe me it's not your job, it's the photographer's job. And here at Bry Cox Studio, you don't have to worry – you'll LOVE your portraits. I'm a specialist and will make you look and feel like a movie star.

Everyone should have a portrait of themselves that they love and find inspiring. I will make you look great naturally using custom lighting specifically for your face and body type.

This is why out of so many photographers, I am constantly hired to photograph celebrities, prominent people, and VIPs. They want to look great the first time without redos, and I'm sure you do too.

My images are used by Capitol Records, CMT, Billboard Magazine, ads for Fuji Film, national and international magazines. I've been hired to photograph LeAnn Rimes, Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Loggins, Ann-Margret, Ryan Shupe, Steve Forbes, Mitt Romney, last four Utah Governors...and the list goes on!

I'm a Utah-based photographer and everyday I get to work with people all over the country, using light to capture emotion and make people look great.

I am one of the few photographers to reach the national ranks of Master and Craftsman with the Professional Photographers of America, a distinction that sets me apart and shows that I take my profession seriously.

Before that, I graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelors in Business and I have dedicated my life to understanding my trade, improving my skills, and creating high-quality portrait memories for my clients.

I enjoy being creative in other areas too like writing music, playing the saxophone, guitar, and harmonica. I like to cook and experiment in the kitchen, and being a native Utahn, I love being outside, rock climbing, shooting guns for competition, and riding motorcycles.

Part of being a Master Photographer is giving back to the industry by teaching and helping other photographers raise their level of quality. I write books, record tutorials, I mentor, and I speak all over the United States (and sometimes abroad) at photographic conventions.

Portrait investment levels vary for each of my clients based on what you'd like, how far away the destination is, lighting requirements, level of retouching and digital composite work, finished sizes, types of frames, types of coating finishes, and more.

Packages don't work because your needs are different. Instead I will individually tailor your collection to you specifically.

If you're shopping around comparing other photographer's prices, I won't be the cheapest, but I will be the best. And I won't have to shoot tons of images in hopes of getting something where you look good either. I specialize in making you look amazing, quickly, and easily. You'll leave your shoot full of energy knowing you have more variety and even better images, but in much less time.

Most pricing questions can be answered right on the phone, but a personal meet or consultation is always recommended, especially for something really specialized like a wedding or a family grouping, or if you'd just like to compare options.
